There’s no disputing that the Nokia N95 is an excellent smart phone and you can get some great N95 deals for it. I recently got myself one for business purposes, but writing email messages on the N95’s keypad is not a very efficient way of doing business! And then there’s the keypress bug that ignores some keystrokes! I’ve been thinking of upgrading my contract but there aren’t many N95 deals that feature the SU-8W wireless keyboard!

And then I discover that the SU-8W keyboard is a bit pricy and mostly out of stock! Fortunately I don’t let such stuff hold me down. I did some research and discovered that the Apple Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard also works! The Apple keyboard is a lot cheaper but is not as compact as the SU-8W, so theoretically it’s a bit easier to use.

Hooking the keyboard up is easy using the keyboard connection application under Office. The Left and Right command key work like the soft keys of the N95, and I can select with the arrow keys, activate with the Enter key and access the N95 menu with ALT+TAB. But best of all, typing is a breeze!

I’m sure other Bluetooth keyboards, such as the iGo Stowaway Ultra-Slim Bluetooth Keyboard should work as well.

Happy typing!
